Athlon 800MHZ overclocking

What is best way to close L1's on Athlon..Also will regular silicone heat sink compound (Like a type Z9) sold by GC work or do I have to use something exotic?? Plan on using a Global Win 32-1 fan and extra fan in rear of case...Am using an Abit Kt7 board..Will 300W supply handle the overclocked to 1Gig..?

Sounds like you need a bit of guidance here mate. Have a look at Tom's How-To at http://www6.tomshardware.com/howto/01q1/010115/pcsystem-04.html

This shows that you should use a HB2 mechanical pencil. Most decent ones you can get should do the trick.

The fans and power supply should be fine.

Yes regular silicone thermal compound will work but for best results you should use some artic silver.

arctic silver works the best. but don't put too much so that i'll run off tho the ceramics. it conducts electricity so your cpu might fry.
