help with long MP3 song

i have this long MP3 file that has many songs connected ina row. anyway to cut these up?
i'm also looking for a converter from regular cd's to MP3's
any help apprciated..

I use two tools. For splitting or joining I use MP3 Surgeon and recoding I use ImTOO Audio Encoder.

A good search at your favorite download site will no doubt reveal some other programs that may even be freeware.

I'd recommand Audacity wich is free and works great for editing Audio Files.

If you need something more stronger then you should use Cool Edit 2000.

For the extraction of Audio files from Audio CDs you should use the best program I know, CDex. Google it.
