Running deus ex on AMD

i have been trying to install Deus ex human revoluton on to my HP dv6 which runs on an AMD processor. it installs but fails to launch ? i have installed the same game on an acer machine running on an intel i3 and it runs ok. what myt b the problem ?

What error message does it give?

Does your AMD computer meet the minimum specs for the game (cpu, ram, gpu, etc)

it does not give any error. i try launching it and it does not respond in any way. nothing happens.
for the requirements , it does meet them. i got Quad Core AMD phenom II CPU, 4 gig RAM DDR3, 512mb ATI graphics.
help meeee.

is it a laptop? what is your actual gpu?
