Acer Driver

Hi,

I own an Acer s3 391, I've just upgarded to W8, and after that there seems to be a problem with my LAN wireless drivers as my laptop is not able to detect any networks at all. I've tried downloading the drivers for my computer and installing it, but it seems to have hit a brickwall during the installation as when it reaches a certain stage the message comes up

"Installing Driver for Qualcomm Atheros Wireless Network Adapter. This may take a few minutes" and I wait for half a day and nothing happens. Do you think there might be something wrong? It is very frustating and the only thing I need is to get my computer online. Can you help?

right click on the LAN setup file
properties
choose compatibility tab
choose run in
windows 7
ok
then run setup again

Oh man. I think I have the same issue. Acer 3820TG, installed WIN8, WLAN card device error, needed to install driver, it failed cuz it was incompatible.

properties
choose compatibility tab
choose run in
windows 7
ok
then run setup again
