My question is simple, does AMD make a 512k athlon chip that is 1.2 gigahrtz? I only ask because I am unsure of exactly what chip it is Tom uses for all the benchmarks I have been seeing. I am assuming that it is a 1.2 Tbrid overclocked to 1.4 gigahertz, but i cant be sure. As now I only know of a 1 gigahertz athlon at 512k. Is that the highest 512k chip out there?
as always any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

yes the classic athlon is the only one with 512k cache. only and all thunderbirds have 256k 1/1 cache. the classic is only 1/2 cache speed and 1/3 cache on higher end athlons

If you can't beat 'em kill 'em
athlon "SLOTA" thunderbird 700@1050mhz
