you mean 10078?
What processor and what is overclocked?
Are you overclocking the FSB or using the multiplier? What are you using to overclock your video card?

HAHA you think that you had a bad score? My old computer (not THAT old) was giving me around 1200 MAX. i was running an AMD K6-2+ 550 Mhz, 128MB PC100, Geforce2 MX 32MB (Overclocked to 220/223). Why in the world i got that score, Im not sure. You would think it would be higher...

yeah i meant to say 10078. i ran it again and i got 10123!!!! the gladiac Geforce2 ultra is not overclocked. i don't think i need to cause it's running at 450mhz stock!
my cpu is an SLOT thunderbird 700@1050Mhz by ways of goldfinger device. 10.5x my fsb is untouchable because of my crappy mobo. but i am taking advantage of the amd750 chipset. that's the only chip that is stable with the slot t-bird.

I'm amazed at how they do that! I think they take a 1.2GHz athlon with DDR ram and use water cooling and overclock it to 1.5 or 1.6GHz. And then I think they over clock the video card and use some sort of water cooling on that too.
Then they probably don't have any other hardware or software other than Windows and Madonion so the system is not bogged down.

I have a Duron at 950 and a GeForce2 GTS with 64MB of DDR ram, 512MB of Crucial PC133 cas2 ram, ATA100 / 7200 Maxtor drive, and the video card is overclocked and I still don't break 7000.

I know I should get a T-Bird and an Ultra card but I just can't afford it right now.

But I guess in the end, what does a score like that get you other than bragging right? My video games look just as good.

That is the highest I have ever seen for an MX card as well.
I'm not too worried about my score. I have a NIC, SB Live, and the H+ DVD card installed. I also have Network Ice running in the background. I think all of these things take away from my score but who cares?
I think the biggest factor holding me back is the Duron. I know I need a T-Bird, maybe this summer.

The highest scores I saw a month ago for "similary" configured systems to mine (including PIIIs and Athlons between 900 and 950, mine at 933) beat mine by only 1500, and there is one hitch-they put the GTS and the PRO in the same catagory, regardless of Ram, so I was competing against cards with twice as much ram as mine, clocked at a higher speed. That alone could make 1500 in 3DM2k.

Suicide is painless...........

3dmark does have a CPU score and it REALLY affects the final score. The DDR definitely makes a difference hell cas3 SDRAM to cas2 SDRAM will give a 10% boost minimum. My 1000MHz (still locked) and my Mushkin REV2 gives a CPU score of 240. I'd like to hear other's CPU scores. Find it in "show details"

I'd also like know what benchmark settings are you running on the slot A. You using athlon or 3dnow optimization? lowest res I'm assuming. What video drivers, directx ver, operating system, anything than just hardware.

I get a 4396 score with lowest res athlon optimized.
I'm running Win2k SP1 directx 8.a and using the 6.31 detonator drivers.
Hardware is nothing special:
1GHz still locked
256MB Mushkin REV2
FIC AZ11
Viper 770 Ultra (TNT2 32MB, if it's too old to remember LOL)
everything else shouldn't matter.

huh? well I pushed 5349 on a PIII 800(133) at 875 and a geforce 256 32MB DDR - 10000 now that's amazing. But don't count me in on doing anything crazy (I don't have the money for it :frown: )

At bus stations, busses stop. At train stations, trains stop. My desk has a work station. GO FIGURE!

...well the kiddie hill, anyway

I made it! 5644! The highest 3DMark 2000 score at MadOnion with a DURON/Geforce 256 SDR combination!

I've got my KT7 tweaked to the max. Now only if I had a real video card.

Don't all you DDR and KT133A mobo owners rush out to beat my score!
