Printer Port problem

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax (More info?)

My printer works fine. However, when I look at the Ports
in properties, the last two ports are largely unprintable
lines of garbage. I've tried to select and delete them to
no avail and searched the registry for what is visible
-"tLocal Port" - with no results.
I've let XP upgrade itself with the latest support package
and my antivirus is up to date.
Any ideas out there?
