Mass Effect 3 custom face importation?

My brother told me that a patch is going to be released for ME3 which features the ability to import your own face (or anyone's face) from a photo and wrap it around the 3D model of the "Shepard" character.

I say he's full of crap.

I haven't heard of that.
There was this option to do this for Tony Hawks undeground on PS2. It was quire complicated. You needed to send your face to activiosin and stuff. If I remember correctly.
So technically I think it's possible.

Maybe he was mistaken, because Bioware is releasing a patch that fixes the face import glitch from previous ME titles.
I'm not sure if that's released yet.

I haven't heard anything about this. Not sure why you would want to though honestly, the customization system is pretty robust and you can import from ME1 and 2.

I think they did this for one of the rainbow vegas games. It sucked horribly. You had to sit there for 15 minutes and then turn your head and most of the time it wouldnt recognize a face.
