Internet connection

Hello,
have a new laptop w/windows 7, trying to get online, can't connect. old laptop (vista) connects fine.

Please provide us with more information here. How are you trying to connect?

Try running the Network Troubleshooter by right-clicking the network icon in the notification area, and then clicking Troubleshoot problems. You can also try restarting your modem and then restarting your router.
