Xbox slim wont connect to the internet

Hi, so i have an Xbox arcade and an Xbox slim and neither both will connect to router but neither will get to the internet. The part that i dont understand is my laptop, ipod and ipad all connect to the router and the internet is there something im not doing correctly?

Make sure the following ports are open on your router:

•Port 88 (UDP)

•Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

•Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

•Port 80 (TCP)

Also consult your router manual and make sure your NAT is set to open.
