Arctic Silver II

Hey all,
last night I put on some ACII. At first, it didn't really seem to make much difference. The idle temp is about 1-2oC cooler, but I did notice that it does not get as warm when running a load. Is this normal? It also seemed to actually stay cooler today. Does it take time to settle or smething? Just curious...I run a T_Bird 900, no overclock. With a fop 32-1.

The benchmark temps i've seen with Arctic Silver 2 compared to 1 is almost negligable- like 1C under full load. Though, Arctic Silver 2 is cheaper (it just comes in a smaller tube).

Using artic silver you are still limited to how well the hsf can perform. ARtic silver is a larger help when you overclock.
