You are an idiot.
1) Please keep all replies with the original thread.
2) If you had even the slightest clue about how faxing works (and, as you
don't, why are you attempting to send one?!) you wouldn't be asking this
question. How on *earth* is a fax supposed to be sent when there's no modem
and no phone line involved?! Use what common sense you have (not that you've
got any).

The majority of fax users have dedicated fax machines that work on the same
principles as a regular telephone.. you may have seen them at your local
electrical supplies store.. you may also have noticed that whne your pc
connects to the internet, that it doesn't actually dial out.. now ask
yourself this simple question.. how would I connect to somebody elses
phone/fax via my computer if it is unable to dial the recipients
phone/fax?.. it really isn't that difficult to work out..

I have some retoric questions:
is your moden connected to a telephone line ?
can your moden send faxes? it is a modem-fax?
do you have by any chance WinXP with SP2-preview?
if yes, it will not work. SP2-preview has a bug.
