Whenever i try to launch Games for Windows live Marketplace it loads for a few seconds then nothing happens. The main issue though is i bought Gotham City Imposters a few days ago and it doesnt even start up the mouse gets a loading symbal next to it for 5-6 seconds then goes away and nothing happens.

I tried this

- Uninstall and Reinstall the following programs in order:

+ Games for Windows Marketplace

+ .Net Framework 3.5 and 4.0 and the redistributables

+ Windows Live Sign in assistant

+ MSN Messenger

+ Then the game...

But i stopped when windows live did the same thing.... i disabled all of my security items and it still didnt work.

Solution

Yeah Same here. When I install my game it loads up just fine and it lets me know that it loaded ok. Then when I click on it, it looks like it is loading then after about 20 to 30 seconds it stops.

I have tried eveything you have and more. Now when I try loading it on my dell insprion with a i3 560 CPU with win 7 64bit. When I hit play it loads up and I can play it but the problem I have.

It is the worst lag I have ever seen. I will play for about 20 seconds then it will freeze for about 10 seconds then start to move like nothing ever happened then it would freeze again.

I don't know what the compatible issue is with it both win 7 64bit one has...

Splendid
I have a similar problem with Age of Empires III. You might try to visit there web site and see if anybody else has the same problem. It has to do with some kind of compatibilty issue.

You can try to boot with out any addons then try running as administrator and try running with out your antivirus. But try there web site first and see what is going on.

If this problem is happening to you then probley you are not alone. Good luck

Guys here is the solution .. ------

Just got this after destroying my mind everywhere ..
I have a doubt and I was right... its Visual c++ redistributable problem.

SOLUTION -----------------------------------

If you have a Win 8 RP x64 or any x64 version ... just download the visual c++ re.. 2010 form ms site or for full package, from softpedia..(4.8 mb) only... install it and run the game and then check.. it will work.. ;)
And thank me later.
