Hello everybody! After a long break of playing Skyrim, I will come back and start again... The thing that I want to know is about High Res Textures (Those that Bethesda has released), I dont interested of any mods now. How High Res Textures are required than normal? On normal Skyrim, I play MAX OUT with 1280x1024, about 30 FPS, also I have new 1.5 patch (and very old Graphic Drivers) PC is AMD Athlon II X4 630, 4 GB of RAM and ATI HD4850 PowerColor 1GB, Windows 7 Ultimate, so what do you think?

Not only that, but if you download those textures, you're stuck with the 3 gigs or so of space they take up regardless of whether you use them or not. You can't get rid of them. They will always re-download automatically if you reinstall.

They're also not as good as some of the community textures either. But to answer the question, like bumnut53 said, skip them if you're already only getting 30 fps max now.
