Why does my xbox keep disconnecting

hi my xbox keeps disconnecting from xbox live every 28 minutes!! wat can i do to stop this!! thanks

More then likely it is your internet setup. Are you using wireless or wired? Try reseting your router and reconnection. If you can run wired. It will give you a better ping 9 times out of 10 anyway and provides a stable connection.

If the router reset doesnt work you can try restoring the consoles network settings back to the factory default setting. I've tried that with a few friends of mine with sucess almost every time.

Check speedtest.net and rule out and unstable connection on the network side
