Civilization 5 Bug

When playing Civ 5, I have noticed during the leader scenes there are these thick black lines across the screen.
Here is an example of what I'm talking about:

You can see black lines in the distance, atop the trees, and across Napoleon's cheek. I've often experienced other leaders with lines covering the face, ruining the experience.

My system specs:
I5-2500k @ 4.6GHz,
Asus P8Z68-V Pro,
Asus gtx580 Direct cuII,
Corsair Vengence 8gb 1600mhz,
Corsair AX850,
Be Quiet! Dark Rock Advanced.

Hmm, your specs should run it fine, but have you tried reducing the gfx quality on leader interactions to see if the issue persists? The leader scenes seem to be the most demanding part of the game (that and having over 100 cities). Is the game fully patched, I know they optimized the leader scenes in a fairly early patch. If the lines appear in other titles it could be a video card problem.

I haven't had any problems with all my other games. Civilization 5 is up to date and I am updating my video card driver to 269.10 now. I'll return shortly with further details.
