Hello, im custom building a gaming pc, want to run games like gw2 on max settings. wondering if this a good pc for $1400

Id recommend waiting to see what the full line of GTX 6XX cards offer. But what you have there would work.

Id rather you go with an i5 with that 560 (and make it a 560 ti). If you were trying to cut the price, if not then what you have is fine.

well ivy bridge is out next week and it looks like its gonna seriously out perform the sandy due to its tri gate tech... some are predicting 20% gains over some sandy cpu's so i wouldnt get a 2011 socket just yet...
over all its not a bad build but a 750w psu is overkill if your not gonna sli. you could save 40-70bux if you chose a 550w or 600w psu which would also give better efficiency.
