We have an HP Laserjet 2100 printer that for our mfg/acctg software we need to use the drivers PCL5 but to fix a problem with missing lines/borders in Excel it needs PCL6. I tried to download the latest drivers from HP, but we already have them.

Please help - this involves our payroll and A/P checks printing and also our Financial statements.

Thanks

What has this to do with Windows/MS? Contact HP!

You may find it useful to have two "Printers" for the same print device (the
HP LaserJet2100). One can have as many logical printers for a single
physical printer as you want and you can have different drivers installed
for each of the logical printers.

Add one printer and select the PCL 5 driver. Install a second printer on
the same "port" and select the PCL 6 driver.

Then, decide which "printer" to use depending on what software you are using
at the time.

It is perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question.
