I just moved to a new office room in another floor with new system administrators who only take care UNIX or LINUX operating system in our computers. FYI, we work in a non-Microsoft network system.

Since I prefer Microsoft Windows and I'm not familiar with those two operating systems above, I keep using MS Windows.
Now I have a problem to use my old printer located in another floor and to install new printers that are in my floor.

So far, I have permission to istall Visual Studio.NET, camera digital softwares (and any mass storage device, I guess).

Any help? Do I need an account permission for changing printer installation? Thanks in advance.
