could somebody explain how to aply actic silver ??? Why doesnt it come with a processor (P111eb)if it is so good??
Does it go on the pad on top of the chip ?? Some advice on this matter would be good , Chears

They've got all the instructions at arcticsilver.com. But Anyway:
You put a little amount on the ceramic part of your chip (In the middle), then spread it using a razor blade or credit card. Put your hsf on top of it (w/o twisting!!!), attach it to your mobo, and viola! You are done! Good Luck.

if you still have a 'heat pad' in place - remove it (then clean everything carefully using alcohol) and use artic silver - it will be better.

yes, make absolutely certain that you clean the little pink gunk off, it will be a little tough if its already been put on your processor, but you arent supposed to have more than one substance contacting the two (cpu and hsf)

Ok I have just checked out the instructions at actic silver
(whats the go with the finger nails ??) didn,t know that chicks do reviws , anyway going to get the vantec hsf + the paste.Would anyone reckon a copper shim as well???? If so , does the paste go on that to ??? One more brilliant answer would be cool !!! Chears
