I'm going to buy a new computer soon at bestbuys ( desktop) and I am a total gamer. I like mmorpgs (Eden Eternal, Fiesta Online) and I want to play on the sim 3, but I need a badass Graphic card and Ram.. ect for it. So I looked up some desktops under $900:
I dont want to spend that much money So in Row B, I would probably get the iBuyPower Gamer Power Desktop -8GB Memory 1TB Hard Drive with the AMD HD 6670. Any suggestions? Is that good for online games like no laggage? Would it be good for it run on the sims 3?
they are fair systems for the money especially as there prebuilt... personally i would look around for the parts and either get better quality for the same money or more performance for the same...
even if havent built a system b4 its well worth the time and effort as it will take all the fear and mystery out of pc's.
its easier than you might imagine. and as long as you follow the motherboard manual step by step you will have a working pc within 4-5 hours of unboxing.
if your not comfy doing that then pay sum1 50 to build it for you and i guarantee you will be happy and get more for your money.
an ati 6850 will set you back about £90 or $140 its almost as good as a 560ti its about 10% less powerfull in some games about 15% in others and a good alternative that will at least give you 30+ fps on medium-high settings in bf3 which is enough for most other games to give high settings
The only reason I sent you there was to play around not to buy. You said you were going to buy a PC from best buy and I am saying it is a waset of money. You could go to tigerdirect and buy a better gaming PC for a lot less money.
They have them already built or you can get a bare bone kit and put it to gether your self. On newegg they have a 560 ti for sale for $199.99 after rebate. I do wish to good luck on your quest.
