Can't print to Brother HL-5140

We have a Brother HL-5140 laser printer installed locally
on a client machine. It worked fine for months but now
won't print. Have tried uninstall & re-install but no
joy. You can see the print job spooling in printers
folder but after a while you just see 'error printing'
next to the job. The printer works fine on other machines
& this machine will print to network printers ok. Also,
it seems to install ok when logged in as a different user
but stops working as soon as you log back in as the
original user (user does have administrative rights). Can
anybody help??
