Ps3 hdmi no pic but have sound

my ps3 is hooked up with hdmi. i get sound but no pic. anyone know what causes this. it just started has been working fine.

Did you change the ps3's video to HDMI before hooking it up to the tv?

yes it has been hooked up with hdmi it just stopped showing the video

Did you try a different tv? It sounds like either the HDMI input on the tv has gone bad or the HDMI port on the ps3 may have blown. You can also try a different HDMI cable. Early tivo series 3 units used to lose their HDMI connection quite a bit, so it's not uncommon to have a blown HDMI port. if your tv has component connections, you can always use it. It also supports HD video.
