I just got myself an Asus A7v133 with an Athlon 1ghz C (they ran out of B so I had to settle for a C). I want to overclock it to around 1.2ghz. Should I

1. change the multiplier to 12 with an FSB of 100, so that I get 1200 mhz

or

2. change the FSB to 133 and the multiplier to 9.0

Which one would be more stable?

1. It's a C, made for 133 FSB.
2. I'd start with a good hsf+arctic silver, and start with 133x8

Anything less is uncivilized?

Have you unlocked your L1 bridges yet? You need to that in order to up your multiplier. I would not drop your fsb below 133.
