i was wondering how common this might be?
i was told by wcpuid that i had a kt133a instead of a kt133 northbridge on my motherboard. well i looked and i do have the "a" version. i am running at 123 fsb now but only because i have generic pc100. that will soon change.

who is more foolish...
the fool, or the fool that takes his advice?

Ok just went and looked says only KT133

but i was going to get the pro2-a but they were sold out so i got just the pro and what i read on that chipset was KT133a as well.

Seems like via stoped shipping the kt133 and all new boards will have the 133a, since there is no need for changes to the boards or bios this would be logical vor via to do.

Must have thats why i said he had what he had , cause i remember looking at it going aww damn, and bought the one i have now cause i was in a time crunch. then got to thinking . better check. and on ther eweb site shows its supposed tohave the kt133 not the a and remembered looking at the chipset as an a myself :)

gotta like the little bonus for damn near the same price thou. just in case id hide anyways. so the VIA police dont catch him :)
