note I will only game once in a while, not a hard core gamer, now would the APU be better or the current sonic 9600gt 512mb be better?

here Is another system, custom build

Case including power supply 450Watt

A6-3650 Quad core

Motherboard MSI A55M-P33

8gb ram

1TB Hard Drive

dvd burner

here is my old computer.

this new pc cost me 575 Canadian, all that I can afford now.

going to pick up the pc today.

The 9600GT will be a bit more faster than the A6-3650's GPU.

Hi, advice is, the APU you've picked is weak compared to the GPU in your old computer.

So, I'd recommend to rather get an G620 or i3 CPU with a decent dedicated card like 550 Ti.

Also, case + PSU packages are typically not recommended as the PSU ends up being on the garbage quality side. Pick a case with no PSU and pick a separate PSU from Antec, Seasonic or Corsair.

If you need any more help picking out parts let us know

actually, seeing how you're picking up your PC today, then alright, knock yourself out with that purchase, but take the card from your old computer and plop it into the new one.
