PLEASE HELP WITH BLACK SCREEN

I installed diablo 2 last night in anticipation for the 3rd game coming out soon. Well since ive installed my computer does not output a video signal.....at all
when i start the computer it doesnt show anything, although i hear the windows logon and even after the password it loads to my desktop (makes sound but still no display)

it doesnt load bios or anything no video input whatsoever

i have a gateway dx4860
xfx hd6950 2gb
corsair 700 watt gaming series

im really not sure whats going on here any help would be appreciated

ps. ive also tryed getting output through the factory card with no luck even after removing my aftermarket card and then trying

boot into safe mode. if the desktop shows up its likely you will need to uninstall the game and the display drivers.
1s done run ccleaner reg cleaner and reinstall the gfx driver.
