How to get best performance from?

I know this may sound silly, but. I want to temporarily game on my HP- Pavilion dv4-2045dx

It has:

2.2Ghz AMD Mobility M500 Dual core processor
4GB DDR2 RAM
an integrated HD 4200

I know the graphics are horrible, but I do not have access to my main gaming machine right now. Are there any settings that I can change other than in game graphics settings that can optimize my machine's performance. I plan to run them at low settings and resolutions, but what First Person Shooter that's NOT Combat Arms or some BS game could I play on this set up?

try Battlefield 2 if your interested im pretty sure that game still has a big community Team fortress 2 obviously Tribes Ascend maybe im not sure but you might be able to run Gotham city imposters if you want to try this website to see what games you can run on that machine: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx

not a lot im afraid... maybe some older titles like doom and fear but still they would be pushing it...
if you want to try fear free multiplayer. goto http://projectorigin.warnerbros.com/fearcombat/main i think its still accepting signups and for that you get a key to play it for free.
if you can play it at 30fps with some quality turned up then you should be able to play doom 3 and some of the older tombraider games which i know aint fps but are still pretty good. especially tr2

perhaps something on the source engine as it scaled rather well for lower hardware
