hi,
I am having setting up my prineter, what i am doing is
sharing a local printer with three other computers, so I
have my Canon printer connected to my XP machine using
LPT:1 and then from my other two computers i am sharing
that printer, now the problem
When i install printer it works fine both locally and
while sharing, but then all of a sudden it will stop work
all settings are the same but it just won't print also if
i reinstall the printer the whole process of connecting
it , it will print again. But then after a day or two will
stop.

Can someone tell me why its doing that and if there is a
better way to do it. Thanks.

Completely uninstall the printer...

Then do a reinstall and use the USB port instead of the LPT.
