hi, this is naresh.a,
please help me how to partition my laptap os without formate..?
i dont want formate my hard disk becuase its may be loss of system perfomence..
my os is windows 7 genuine

Try downloading and installing Partition Wizard (free for home use). It has a fairly logical interface, and it works on 32-bit and 64-bit windows.

Doesn't Windows 7 have built-in partitioning anyway? Something like "shrink or expand partition" in Disk Management?

I personally use GParted - wonderful boot disk with a simple interface to shrink, grow and combine partitions on all drives your system recognises.

Don't be put off by the geek image that Sourceforge pages portray, just download the ISO disc image, burn a disc and boot from it - dead simple to use once it's running.
