Anyone know any good games with a destructable environment? I'm talking about Red Faction and etc.

Also, I need a good program to change the resolution of a game ONLY (don't make me change my actual desktop resolution) (Red faction geurrilla). I don't know how to to hex-editing so I can't necessarily change it that way.

Please and thank you.

You really cant go wrong with any of the battlefield games.

Battlefield 3 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 are the two newest games.

I know that, but playing on a laptop right now, 640 x 400 doesn't change performance by alot.

older games do not feature graphics engines sophisticated enough to support destructible environments

FEAR 2 has destructible environments if I remember correctly. So does the Crysis series (1, warhead AND 2). The destruction effects in the Crysis series are awesome!!

yeah and those games are so easy on the hardware man I can run them on my calculator.

Point is, destructible environments come at a cost, the cost of which is good hardware to run the game engine. If you're looking for games to play on budget hardware, games like crysis and BF3 are simply above your level
