Can any help me with Shogun 2 for Steam?

So I've downloaded all the patches and updates for shogun 2 and my computer is upto date as far as today.
Here are my specs:

And Ive already gone through the forums for help and none of them helped. I get past the loading screen but just as it enters the first battle, which im guessing is the tutorial. The graphics are choppy and everything is just so messed up. Im sorry I cant explain it very well.

Do you have a GPU? What settings are Shogun on? Screenshot would help!

Card name: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
The settings vary between DX 11 1080p and the 720p.
And for some reason my print screen button isnt working so no picture at the moment.
But working on it.

the chopy performance is likely to be down to the cpu not being that good for gaming. at 3.3 it should be able to handle it though... 6800 series means nothing because that could mean you have a 6830 upto a 6890... use gpu-z or speccy to get the precise model.
chances are your running it beyond the ability of the gfx card so turn down the settings to medium and your game should improve.

Well my gpu is ati radeon 6870. And ive tried running the game on benchmark settings and then tried the DX9 cpu settings and still nothing.

your system should be able to run it with ease, all i can think of reinstalling both steam and shogun 2, good luck tom

turn the unit detail down, idk why, but that killed my performance too
