i have a hp kayak xa (p2-400) and a dell optiplex gx110 (p3-667).

I tried the jumpers on the hp, but no effect. and there are no jumpers that i can see on the dell.

any ideas?

Nah, HP, DELL and other companies don't really let you do that.

Take it from me, I know Dell's, I'm the the guy you whine to when you screwed up your computer and never realize that your the dumbass ... Not Dell (Enough of a hint for you)

There isn't a jumper setting on the op/gx110 to overclock or to change the multiplier on the FSB.

I went to oda's site a while back and he is no longer offering soft fsb as a download or supporting it but I don't know why. I found a link with a copy of it here for those who want it. ftp://ftp.vector.co.jp/pack/win95/hardware/cpu/sfsb17f.exe

And Jes12345 Hey I'm glad I didn't buy that $2500 dell I was ready to order and built my own. One less dumbass to ask for help!
