I've readed the article about the EB setting on register 52h with AMD processors.
At the time i tryied it out but i gave up because my setting on 52h was EC and i couldn't change it no matter what (i changed it, setted it, and then it reseted back to EC).
Recently i decided to give it another go, and this time the registar was at something else and was allot more cooperative this time since it allowed me to set it at EB.
Then i decided to used WPCRS to set the 52h register at EB everytime i booted into windows and so i did.
But now when i go to WPCRE, 52h is again at EC and doesn't change! WPCRS has the correct setting AND on idle my processor (TB1.1Ghz) drops around 12ºC which leads me to conclude that the setting is having the right effect.
I have an Asus A7V133 with bios 1.0.0.4 and WPCRE is 1.2a and WPCRS is 1.2...
The processor is an AMD TB1.1Ghz (typeB) AVHA model.
Does anyone has a clue to what is wrong/happening?
