How to open the Intel PIII cartridge

I've heavilly o/c my PIII and it got soooo hot !
I need to replace the original Headsink and fan with the one I have (it's for o/c purpose with 3 fan on it!)

But how do I open this damn cartridge ?
It's an SECC2 cartridge

If you have a riveted on heatsink, you will have to remove the rivets. Maybe you could drill them out, but I would make sure to clean the processor extremely well afterwards to remove the metal particles.

some of them have have screws that look like rivets.Try and see if a small allen wrench will fit the inside of the "rivet".

I got a p733 if you want to remove the heatsink from the prosessor u need to jentley pry the metal clamns off the side look at it close with a flashlight ps dont forget to lap your heatsink and add thermal paste after!! good luck on the OClocking
