Seems like the geforce2 12.00 drivers don't like me clocking to 215/410.

Anyone know how to manually set the rates in the registry? The Bart, Homer, Lisa, Marge dwords are throwing me for a loop.....

Those are all members of the Simpsons. Did you realize that? Of course you did.

Ummmmm.....yes.

I have no idea why the developers chose the simpson's, but that's not my responsibility =) It would have been nice of them, though, if they didn't encrypt/encode the settings. I'm getting tired of having to reset the rates after each reboot. I'm about to drop back to the 10.80 drivers just so the clock rates will save.....

Get a copy of GeforceTweak available at http://www.guru3d.com. Lots of options and it works on drivers that don't allow the Coolbits registry tweak. You can also overclock higher than the drivers allow (assuming your video card can take it).

I use it. Works great under win98, but it's not got the overlock option in win2k. It's really strange. I can lock it at 215/401, and the settings will hold after reboot. But if I go to 215/410, it resets to 200/365.

And the registry key is encrypted/coded so it's not a direct hex conversion.

*sigh* Whatever......
