Your question

Can't set ownership of this particular file?

Last response: in Windows 7

I'm trying to delete this ISO file but it won't let me cause I don't have the appropriate authority to do that. I am in an admin account for my computer and I have tried changing security settings by going into properties tab of the file. I usually go change the owner of the file to my account and it usually works but now it won't let me.

Is there any other way to get rid of this file? Or by any chance some powerful file deleter for me?

Is the file read only? That's is a common problem for files copied from read-only media such as DVDs.

What folder is the file in, and what are the permissions on the folder?
