Will this run battlefield 3?

Will this do for playing bf3 at 720p or even 1080p

Core 2 quad q8300 2.5ghz
4gb ddr2 ram
hd 6770 1gb gddr5.
windows 7

Will i be able to play? and if not can you recommend a cpu and graphics card for around £100-£130

Hi Thomas, you should be able to play it, though not at max settings. multiplayer bf3 if pretty cpu dependant also (of course, inaddition to gpu). Yepp probz and medium - high setting aswell, i have seen worse setup's then yours max out the game, you should have no issues

dont bs him... look at my system in my sig and i cant max out the game...

op yes you will be able to play and get 60fps if you run on low with max textures and everything els on but on low.

Yes, you can play it on medium, with shadows and AA off.

Yes it will, but I suggest you drop it to low with some tweaked settings. its about fluidity and not eyecandy, unless you are running high end cards or crossfire/Sli solutions.

BF3 is spot the noob, they are the ones running the game maxed out and don't realise you are there until they are dead, but they look good doing it.
