Windows XP freeze with HP Printer...

I have a HPLaserJet 4200n printer installed in a Netware Server.
First I had a PC with windows 98SE and all were ok, not problem with
this printer. All computer with win98 works perfect with this printer.
But since I change to WinXP the system freeze each 5 minutes trying to
obtain the printer information i.e. "start-setting-printer" or when you
go "file-print..." of any program.

Why?
