Can I buy an AMD 266FSB CPU and use it on my KT133 Abit mobo? Iwant to buy an AXIA 266 1Ghz and would run it at 1.2 (12x100) or so, then eventually buy a KT133a chip set mobo. Is this posible?

Sure you'll be able to do it, but unless, like you said, you are getting a KT133a mobo, it was a big waste.

Don't know. Please post your results if you try it. I have a KT133 mobo as well.

I'm a little concerned that your KT133 mobo might try to boot using the CPU defaults of 133 mhz FSB and multiplier of 7.5X. If this happens it won't even post.

It wont do anything if I make sure its unlocked and I boot directly into bios. The CPU cant take a crap without first checking with BIOS if you know what i mean ;)
