can you explain what is the L1 bridges and what they do??

They are a set of 4 bridges, used to set or unlock the CPU multiplier depending on the combination that is used to open/close the bridges on a AMD T-Bird/Duron CPU. Search Tom's site and you should be able to find a boatload of information....
