At the starting up of the first screen all I get is a 360 degree spin as if I am turning around in circles. I can't seem to get out of it. The turning or spinning continues to the left no matter what I do to the controls. Can you help me?

Do you have a control pad plugged in or Raw Mouse Input on?

I had a Joystick plugged into a USB port that was causing the spinning problem. All is good!
