Cannot find saved games in mass effect 2

hi

while playing mass effect 2, when i save the game, it saves it succesfully. It even gives me the list of previous saves I have done. However, when I want to load a saved game, the load games section is empty. Not a single file there. As a result, I can't load any saved games and hav to select Resume from the main menu, but that does not always load the latest save automatically. It takes me back quite a bit and it gets quite annoying.

Please help. Will be much appreciated

I believe it's save under My Documents\My Games\Bioware.
