Mass Effect 3 Problem

There is a huge problem with my ME3.
I bought the game on disc and activated and installed it via Origin.
Now after updating when I double click the shortcut nothing happens.Absolutely nothing.
I try to start the game from Origin but yet nothing happens.
I re-installed the game and then paused the update and then tried to start but yet nothing happens.
the game doesnt start at all.
A release data check was done but the game doesn't start.
My PC specs are perfect to run the game so what can I do?

Hmmmm, have you thought about just downloading it via origin? I did that and it worked fine, otherwise I would try and contact either Bioware or Origin.

Try disconnecting you internet and then installing and running the game??
