Overclocking my 1000mhz

I overclocked my 1000mhz 266FSB (7.5x133) to a 1.403Ghz (11.5x122). The bus speed is down 8%. When i tried to run it at 133, it would default down to 1266Mhz (9.5x133). I got it running at 9.5x143 but every time i had to restart, it would hang after shutdown so i had to powerup from the power supply every time. Now that I have it at 11.5x122, it's been running very stable all around and my benchmark is just about the same at 1.4ghz on tom's article. I did all the settings on the cpu because my ASUS A7M266 (ver 1.01) did not have the clock settings. It's about a 40% increase in performance. Is there anything I can do to improve my performance?
Thanks...

What memory are you using? I have a 1 gig (100mhz) now runs ALMOST stable at 1400, runs 100% stable at 1350 (135 x 10), havnt had chance to "tinker" more just yet, but the point is, until yesterday I had generic pc 133 ram, and could go only to 1200 MAX (my last one till it died ran fine at 100 x 12.5 on the same board- but it died after 2 weeks). I bought some corsair pc 150 yesterday, and as I said- goes a lot higher, I'll try running at higher fsb when I get home tonight but didnt get chance yesterday.

One thing I can suggest, since you're having trouble at higher FSB, is either to change your motherboard settings for the memory (make sure it is at a CL3 latency unless your chip supports higher) and if it should run at that, up your I/O Voltage up .1 at a time to see if that stabilizes it..
