Remove nwn registry

Hello,
How can I prevent NWN from accessing the registry everytime it starts? It asks for an admin password everytime and my dad won't give me the admin password. Thanks.

do you think that four threads are enough? (although you appear to only have 1 thread, so this may be a system error, although they are all slightly different)

Has the program been properly installed from the original disks?

Weird that there are four posts!!! Only posted once but received an error msg when I posted. Yes, the program has been installed correctly and can get it to run as v1.00 but not v1.69 unless I type in the admin name/password. Thanks.

So its not a dodgy copy downloaded from the internet?

Installing the game to Public folder instead of C: might help this. Be sure to apply the 1.69 critical rebuild patch before trying to run the game at all. Set compatibility mode to XP(service pack whatever) and there should be no need to Run as Admin from the Public folder.
