Im looking for a good 19" monitor to go with my brand new GeForce3.Old 15" is going straight for the closet. So my question is whats the best monitor for gaming between these 2??

G400: Got a higher resolution 1800x1440 .24dp and cost more
PF 790: Got a lower resolution 1600x1200 .25dp but cost less

Will i see a noticeable difference between those 2?

There is also the Optiquest Q95 im my list..

So can someone give me some feedback on those screens?

Earase Optiqest Q95 from your list. Sony is definately better, it will last longer, better colors, pitch, everything. What for will you use the monitor and at what resolutions? PF790 is great for games, but if you can afford SonyG400 - get it!

Never buy Samsung SyncMaster DynaFlat series monitors!

I have a G400. The monitor is pretty good, colors etc. There is a slight geometry problem in the upper corner. Also the g400 cannot do 1280x1024 at 100Hz no matter what the stupid manual and sony says. I have tried 2 different graphic cards (v3 3500 and hercules 4500 - kyroII), the sony techshave tried many cards but nothing. It goes up to 85.

I have a E400 , this the second one . First was faulty.
This has a geometry problem . Lines are not really line but -very slightly- arcs. Color (only white) is not homogen at every point of the screen .
I also send back two G200's . I am not happy with Sony monitors . They are low quality , expensive.
