Trouble Running Dead Island. Please Help.

So, I just downloaded Dead Island the other night during Steam's sale they had on it, however The game seems to run very clunky when I am playing it. I Used Fraps and it says I have a solid 60fps (also monitors refresh rate.) at all times but it still runs choppy, does anyone know what is causing this or have any ideas on how to fix it?
Also for reference here is my pc in case it helps:
Intel i5-2500k @ 3.2GHz
8gb RAM
GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 cores.
