printing

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax (More info?)

When I click File, Print, it does not print??? It only
prints if I click the icon of the printer at the top but
then I can't choose to print only one page?

What do I need to do

Is your printer set as the Default?

Control Panel, Printers & Faxes, right click on the Printer in question and
select Set as Default.

What application are you trying to print from? Does this happen in ALL
applications or just some?

After a few seconds of wait time a "print dialog" should
appear. This is where the settings for print page or zones
will appear. Sometimes it can take up to 30 seconds,
specially if something has already peaked out the processor
time. Try waiting after the file>print is invoked.
