When attempting to print from Internet Explorer to a
network printer, the same web page will spool different
print job sizes that are printed from different
computers. The size difference is extreem in some cases
going from 4megs to 300megs for the exact same web page.
The two computers I am testing this on using the exact
same driver and printer set ups and the machines are
configured as closely as I possibly could. I have tried
replacing the print drivers as well as re-creating the
ports. System Specs

System 1:
Dell Optiplex GX model
HP LaserJet 5
Windows XP
IE 6.0.2800

System 2:
Dell Optiplex GX model
HP LaserJet 5
Windows XP
IE 6.0.2800

Any ideas on what could cause such a discrepency in Print
Job Size?

Inside the printer properties is a button marked print processor. It opens a
window listing the available print processor and mode. Check to see if the
various settings differ from one computer to another. If those settings are
the same, and the same windows version and apps are used, it may be that a
difference in video cards and drivers is involved.
Another possibility can occur when a printer has a large amount of RAM, and
the driver does not see the RAM or has not been told about it. Spool whole
job then print vs print while spooling can also change the spool file sizes.
